Accepts nonfiction mss of 2,000 to 12,000 words.  Topics and forms include "first-person stories covering all aspects of women's interests: love, marriage, family life, careers, social problems, etc.  We have no taboos." Pays 5cents/word; .00 minimum one month after publication for all rights.

 Accepts Satire and parody.  "Submit a premise with three or four examples of how you intend to carry it through, describing the action and visual content.  Rough sketches desired but not necessary.  One page gags: two to eight panel cartoon continuties as minimum very funny, maximum hilarious!"  Pays minimum of /Mad page on accetpance for all rights.  Byline given.

Cape Fear Crime Festival

Offered annually to any writer.  "The CFCF Short Story Contest was created in concert with tha annual Cape Fear Crime Festival, a mystery writer and reader's conference held in North Carolina.  The purpose is to provide a forum in which to discover, publish and promote new writer, and to introduce readers to promising authors through the publication of the contest's annual chapbook."

 Accepts No specific categories, as long as the  story has strong mystery or crime theme.  The first place winner receives .00.  Second and third place winners receive .00 amd .00, respectively.  All winning stories will be punlished in sroy contest chapbook, which is distributed to hundreds of Festival attendees.
